tutorials have started
sm and I went for our first tutorial which is english language
and gillian and lihong were in the same tutorial class
so four of us formed our own affinity group and since the theme was food, we named it porky
film art lecture was fun
for the film screening, we watched psycho
its really psycho
everyone was pretty agitated and scared the whole LT got a lot of gasps and yells
i was pretty freaked out myself we were like cuddled up and I covered my ears
OMG but it was a great show :)
laila is coming bak to singapore :)
this time shamila, laila, peiyu and I can go out together
ultra eggcited:)
went to watch walle and ate ajisen with my family
walle is so cute pls :)
today the mega carnival was fun :)
went there with Rana and Anthea
the SADeaf ppl were super nice
there wasnt anything much i had to do just basically sit there
so james taught me sign language and the other guy was our interpreter
they kept testing me like how do you sign "b-o-o-k" etc
had fun :)
so i was basically sitting there learning sign language
lol super slack
BALLOTING SUCKS BIG TIME!
my social work tutorial i got the slot i hate most which falls nicely on thurs which is supposed to be my OFF day
damn
orientation passed super fast and yeah, its the best orientation i ever had
rackjack :)
everything is really diff from sec and jc times
now everything(at least in rackjack) is super "friendly friendly"
and the games are more hiong
last time girls scream like crazy when some drops of water splashed them during games now everyone (yes, no escape) are dunked from head to toe in the sea
last time we find it gross to sweep our butts across the seats filled with water now you don't find just water on it
additional ingredients include chili sauce (everyone then complained their butt stings), mayonnaise etc
and the worst game was when we had to kneel on the sand to form a bridge
95 percent will end up bleeding at the knees
but had fun :)
finally finish bidding and stuff
i got my modules: sociology, social work, south asian studies, english language and film art
today sharmin and me went for our film art lecture
its 5 hours straight- two hours lect and next 3 hours film screening
and prof showed us this show called "blue"
which is a 70 plus mins film that has no misc-en-scene
in English, it means the whole show is totally blank except for some background sounds
and when i say blank its really blank just a blue background throughout the whole show
no characters, no graphics no nothing
amazing.
